Using AgentPay
Who is AgentPay for?
AgentPay is a subscription software service for insurance agents who want help understanding their own agency compensation, estimating upcoming compensation, comparing scenarios, and planning cash flow. It is intended for professional business planning, not consumer insurance, carrier administration, or employee payroll.
Which AA05 statements does AgentPay support?
AgentPay currently supports eligible AA05 compensation statements, including the RIZPB004 Agent Compensation Statement / Agent Online Recap PDF. Use the Upload Guide to save a complete PDF with the right report and date range.
Is AA28 supported?
Not yet. AA28 is marked Coming Soon. That language does not guarantee a release date, feature set, eligibility, or continued development. Do not subscribe based on an assumed AA28 launch date.
Statements and privacy
How does statement privacy work?
Statements and extracted compensation information are private to the customer's authenticated account. Other customers and agents cannot browse or access them. AgentPay uses automated and service-provider systems for normal temporary storage, extraction, validation, and forecasting. Access controls limit who can reach private files and data.
The original uploaded file remains in private active storage only while queued, processing, or undergoing bounded retries. After successful extraction and secure persistence, AgentPay automatically deletes the original file. Extracted values, statement history, and forecast records remain available under the account-retention policy. A terminally failed file is deleted after retries end, and must be uploaded again.
AgentPay uses providers including Supabase, OpenAI API, Railway, and Vercel as described in the Privacy Policy.
Can Brandon or another insurance agent see my statements?
Another customer or insurance agent cannot access your statements through AgentPay. Brandon Shepherd does not routinely open customer statements or monitor individual compensation during ordinary processing.
Brandon or another specifically authorized support person may access only the information reasonably needed when you ask for help, a processing problem requires secure review, AgentPay must maintain or protect the service, fraud or abuse must be investigated, or law or valid legal process requires access. AgentPay does not promise that a human can never access a statement.
What should I avoid uploading?
Do not upload unrelated sensitive personal information. Upload only your own authorized compensation statements. Review each PDF and permanently redact unrelated customer, employee, medical, identity, bank, or payment-card information when lawful and appropriate, while leaving the compensation details AgentPay needs to process the statement.
Forecasts and processing
Can I see a forecast before my statements finish processing?
AgentPay may show a preliminary, low-confidence forecast based on the agency information you entered while you have no processed history, an upload is queued, or available history is still limited. A preliminary forecast does not claim to use statement trends that have not finished processing and approval.
The result may change materially once statement history is available or inputs are corrected.
How long does statement processing take?
Uploaded statements may enter a secure processing queue. Timing varies with queue position, demand, file size and quality, provider availability, retries, and whether an issue requires review. AgentPay does not guarantee completion within a specific number of minutes or hours.
Processing may continue after you leave the page. Return to statement history to check status or respond to a review request. If a connection is interrupted, a statement may still be processing. Avoid uploading duplicate copies while the original is queued or processing.
Are AgentPay forecasts accurate?
Forecasts are estimates, not guarantees. They depend on the statements and inputs available, customer corrections, timing assumptions, supported formats, and calculation rules. Actual compensation may differ. Always compare AgentPay information with official statements and records before making a business decision.
Pricing and cancellation
How does Founding Agent pricing work?
Founding Agent is $20 per month for the first 1,000 customers whose initial subscription payment succeeds. The standard price after those subscriptions are allocated is $29 per month. There is no free trial, and billing recurs monthly until canceled.
The $20 price remains while that subscription is continuously active. If it is canceled or ends and the customer later returns, the then-current standard price applies.
How do I cancel?
Cancel online through the available subscription-management control. A completed cancellation stops future renewals. Access normally continues through the end of the already-paid billing period. Payments are generally non-refundable after service access or statement processing begins, subject to the Refund Policy and applicable law.
